Besides Chinese food, I have learnt and made foods from other cuisines. These are the seasoning ingredients I use often.
Mixed herbs – paprika, cumin seed, parsley, basil, and black pepper, I like them most;
Honey – substitute of sugar or syrup;
Ketchup – who doesn’t like ketchup?!
Mayonnaise – for fried food dipping;
Korean red chili paste and bean paste – I like Korean food as well, especially during wintertime, I would make kimchi soup or pork ribs and potato stew. These are basic Korean cooking sauces;
Miso – miso soup is one of my handy quick soups.
