I made a jar of apple jam two days ago. Two spoonful of them with a tin of soda, cubes of ice and slices of lemon can make a quick and easy healthy summer drink!
I wasn’t home for a few days and some vegetables and fruits in my fridge were no longer fresh. I found two big apples and they weren’t crunchy anymore, so I made jam with them. It’s good to make jam when fruit is no longer fresh or their taste or texture not good enough. And it’s more than just to be bread spread, it can also be meat dipping. I would usually make mocktail and cocktail with homemade jam as well.
Homemade jam should be kept in fridge and consumed within a week otherwise it would easily go bad since there is no preservative.
