Ying's ideas of easy Chinese home-cooking

Newly-made pickle jars at the Autumnal Equinox. But it’s still far away from getting-cool here in Hong Kong! I made pickled onion, cucumber and big green chili pepper with two different recipes of brine. For the cucumber and pepper jar, I used the old brine. The cucumber can be eaten tonight and the others will wait for a few days of fermentation. Can’t live without pickles in hot days.
